MANDATORY PLC (Patrol Leader Council) and OPTIONAL Scoutmaster Conferences

Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) 1:45-3pm 

MANDATORY attendance for: SPL (Senior Patrol Leader), ASPL (Assistant Senior Patrol Leader), PL (Patrol Leaders), Troop Leadership Positions (Guides, Instructors, Quartermaster, Historian, Scribe, Webmaster).

Pizza at 1:45, meeting 2:00-3:00.  No uniform required, casual dress OK. Bring your Boy Scout Handbook, a notebook, a pencil, and be ready for a fast-paced session on leadership.  (Star and Life Scouts must attend this training to start their 4 or 6 month "Leadership Position of Responsibility")

Scoutmaster Conferences 5-6pm

Shooting Sports Day at Boulder Creek on August 28

This is an amazing opportunity to experience a wide variety of shooting sports in a safe and fun outdoor environment. This one-day event is limited to 60 Scouts, so make sure you sign up early on the troop website ASAP! The troop collectively will sign up as a group once we have all registrations. When: Saturday August 28, 2021, 7:00am-6:00pm

Cost: $100/Scout, $40/Adults

Where: Boulder Creek Scout Reservation

Who: Limited to 60 Scouts; each unit can only sign up 6 Scouts initially; any remaining slots as of 8/20 will be open to any troop.

  • Sign-ups are by “contingent” only (as a troop/crew, no individual sign-ups).
  • Units will be assigned a check-in time of 7:00am OR 7:30am.
  • All participants must bring 2 signed copies of the Firearms Permission Form. 
  • MANDATORY safety briefing starts at 8:30am. If you are not there on time you cannot shoot!
  • Eye and ear protection will be provided and must be worn at all ranges.
  • Bring your own lunch and water.
  • Adults can shoot, time permitting. Scouts have priority.
  • Health Considerations for COVID-19: All attendees will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire and will be turned away if they have any symptoms. Temperature will be checked at check-in. Masks must be worn at all times other than when shooting or eating.

Activities: Archery, .22 Rifle, Tomahawk, Shotgun, Muzzleloading Rifle.
