The annual waterway and land cleanup day overlaps with the California Coastal Cleanup Day. It is the largest volunteer event that brings the community together in removing trash from our waterways and protecting our marine environment.

Fun fact: the 2017 Coastal Cleanup Day reported over 42,000 volunteers who collectively picked up over 316,000 pounds of trash in only a few hours!

What to Bring:

Waiver Forms - Every participant is required to sign a waiver form. To make your check in faster, print, sign and bring the following waiver form with you on the day of the event. Bring/Wear - Carpool or bike to the location. Please bring your own buckets, gloves, and reusable water bottle to reduce our overall footprint during the event. Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and bring sunscreen, sunglasses, or a hat.

Day of: Wear your Class B shirt. Check in at the site location sign-in table to receive direction from the Site Captain. Listen to the safety orientation, have fun, and be safe!
