Troop 28 is hosting an Open House 8/29 at 11am to help increase membership in our troop.
Here is how you can help: Parents, please share the Event on your Facebook profile, in parent groups, school news letters, Nextdoor, and other community groups. We have a variety of activities scheduled for the new school year that will appeal to many boys' various interests: hiking, biking, monthly overnight camping, archery, rafting, escape room, service projects, orienteering and more! The more people who help spread the word of our program, the greater our ability to increase our membership!!
The Committee members agreed to two weeks of summer camp in 2018. We have reserved one week at Wente Scout Reservation (June 17-23) and one week at Camp Royaneh (July 8-14).
Sign ups and required forms (Medical forms A, B, & C, current insurance card, and shooting permission slip) will be posted in January. Parents who are planning on attending must ensure their Youth Protection Training is current. Click on "My Profile" to see when your forms and training expire.
