The Parent's Meeting will be held for all Troop 28 families on Monday, October 4 at 6:30pm. Please send a representative from your family and bring a camp chair. The Troop will go over the plans for the year including the Troop meeting schedule, camping trips, and fun activities we have planned, plus we can address any any questions. The first 30 minutes of the meeting will be for all Troop 28 families and the second portion will be focused on new families. The meeting will be held at St. Paul's Church (415 El Camino Real, Burlingame) outdoors at the church blacktop area opposite El Camino (specifically the corner of Chapin Ave & Occidental Ave). We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
If you have any questions, please contact Chester Rice at cwrice1@yahoo.com.

We are truly grateful for your continued commitment to keeping youth safe and for helping them learn, grow, and thrive through Scouting programs.
details: The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is committed first and foremost to keeping youth safe. Part of that commitment includes continually updating our youth protection policies to help ensure we are always on the forefront of youth safety. As you know, one of the BSA’s many barriers to abuse is a mandatory criminal background check during the adult volunteer application process. The BSA will now also perform periodic rechecks of criminal backgrounds to support the continued safety of youth in our programs.

The Annual Health and Medical Record is required for Scouts and adults who are attending summer camp in 2021. Camp requires Forms A, B1, B2 and C be completed prior to attending summer camp https://www.t28burlingame.org/system/files/680001_ABC-1.pdf This applies to both scouts and adults.
Note that there are different parts to the form:

Part B1 and B2 are general information and a health history. Requires immunization record and copy of front/back of your medical card)
Part C is the physical exam completed by a certified and licensed health care provider. (required for overnight trips over 72 hours ie: summer camps). The form is valid through the end of the 12th month after the date it was administered by your medical provider. For example, if you got your physical on Nov. 30, 2020, it’s valid until Nov. 29, 2021.
Print and sign 2 copies of Forms A, B1, B2, and C. Include 2 copies of the front/back of the insurance card and immunization record. Ensure Form C is signed by a physician.
